Helping Moms be Heroes 🦸🏾‍♀️

A Hero Drive is a charity event where we partner with local churches and organizations to give out free diapers, wipes, and more to eligible parents as a small way to help moms (and dads) be heroes! This also helps spread the word and promote the services of Guiding Star Southwest women's pregnancy and wellness center, or The Lily Pad Maternity Home, which are both 501(c)(3) non-profit initiatives through Southwest Coalition, Inc.

No. The only documentation that may be needed is if you are not a child's biological or adoptive parent, bring something to show you are their valid legal guardian. 

No, but you must be currently residing in the State of Texas.

No, as long as they are under 36 months and you are their parent, they do not need to be present.

No, you don’t need to bring any documentation as long as their date of birth is 36 months or under.

We will need to speak with a parent of the child over the phone, and a parent will need to sign for the diapers. After that, a grandparent can pick up the diapers for them, but it's easiest if a parent can come.

This program is limited to parents who are pregnant or have a child 36 months or younger. However, we would be happy to refer you to other services that can better meet your needs.

Nope. We are here to help all moms (and dads!). In fact, we get reimbursed for the diapers we give out, enabling us to help even more moms, so by getting diapers, it's like you're also making a donation!

Each distribution is about a week's worth of diapers (50-60, depending on size), and you may come back for up to seven distributions! We'll give you a punch card to help keep track, which works out to over 400 diapers total, or nearly 2 months worth of free diapers! If you've maxed out in the past, be aware that this limit resets with each new baby as soon as you get pregnant.

Nothing more than a signature and a brief 5 to 15 minute consultation with one of our team members to learn about our other resources and services. Sometimes there can also be a wait time if there are a lot of other parents in line.
